The Problem
Multiple security tools needed to know about every binary Adobe shipped — when it was built, what it contained, its signing status, its vulnerability scan results. There was no central system. Each tool built its own data collection.
What I Built
Codex — a centralized metadata store for every Adobe shipped binary, with an event-trigger system that notifies downstream workflows when new binaries are registered or status changes. Other systems subscribe rather than poll.
Technical Challenges
- Event-driven architecture triggering n downstream workflows reliably from a single source
- Metadata schema flexible enough for diverse binary types
- Complex workflow orchestration with guaranteed delivery
- Audit trail of every state change per binary

Results & Impact
- Backbone infrastructure for Adobe’s binary security pipeline
- Multiple downstream systems decoupled and event-driven
- Single source of truth for shipped binary metadata
