AI Voicebot — Visitor Self Check-in

The Problem

Visitor check-in at enterprise facilities is manual, slow, and requires dedicated staff. For large offices with high visitor volume, this is a real operational cost.

What I Built

A voice-based AI check-in system. Visitors call a number, the voicebot handles the full check-in conversation — name, host, purpose of visit, ID verification — and triggers backend workflows like host notification and access provisioning.

Technical Challenges

• Natural conversation flow handling varied visitor responses gracefully
• Speech recognition accuracy for names and company names
• LLM workflow orchestration keeping conversation on track
• Backend integration with access control and notification systems
• Fallback to human when AI confidence is low
